MINIATURE GOLF / GENERAL RULES

A)        No more than four (4) players are allowed to play per golf hole at a time unless an exception is granted by Sand Trap management.

B)        Players are to gently strike his/her golf ball in a manner so as to gently roll the ball toward the cup. Players are not to aggressively swing golf putters at the ball, lift a putter higher than waist level, throw a putter, or use a putter or other object in a manner that could cause damage to another person, a person's property, or The Sand Trap golf course. All party attendees (children and adults) participate in activities at The Sand Trap at his/her own risk, including property damage.

C)        Golf players are not to begin playing on a particular golf hole until the group playing in front of them has left that hole for the next numbered hole.

D)        Each player is to take turns putting his/her ball. When a player's ball has rolled to a stop, the next player may putt. The order of play on each hole is determined by the player whose ball is closest to the hole.

E)        A golf ball that accidentally hits another golf ball does not generate a penalty to the player that hit the ball. Ball that was hit should be put back in its original place.

F)        Any golf ball resting against a side brick rail or other obstacle may be moved one (1) club head length in from the rail or obstacle involved with no penalty to the player responsible.

G)        A golf ball that rolls out of bounds can be replaced where it went out with a one (1) stroke penalty being charged to the player involved.

H)        Any ball rolling into a sand or water trap can be replaced at the point of entry with a one (1) stroke penalty to the player involved. Players are not to attempt to hit the ball out of a sand or water trap.

I)        Each player group is responsible for placing the numbered golf flag back in the cup after completing play on a particular golf hole.

J)        There is a six (6) stroke limit per player per hole.

K)        Replaying of holes or skipping holes is not allowed.

L)        Player(s) or player groups may not cut ahead of other groups, skip from hole to hole or cut across the golf course premises to other locations on the golf course. All players are to walk on sidewalks and walkways provided for them between golf holes after completing play on a particular golf hole.

M)        Eating, drinking, smoking or consuming alcoholic beverages is not allowed on the golf course. Drinking (of non-alcoholic beverages) and eating is allowed on the Sand Trap patio picnic area and/or within The Sand Trap dining room.

N)        Sand Trap management in its sole discretion reserves the right to remove any party attendee from the golf course or the premises entirely for misbehavior, rules violations, or dangerous play.
