Children arrive at various times and have opportunities for quiet conversations,
playing games of their choice, reading and making new friends.
9:00AM – 10:30AM
– Miniature Golf/ Par 3 Golf
Children learn golf etiquette and skill basics as well as play in team golf
tournaments
against camp staff and other campers.
10:30AM – 10:45AM
– snack
10:45AM – 12:00 Noon
– Outdoor Activity of Choice
Soccer games, volleyball, playground games are arranged according to skill level
and choices of campers.
12:30PM – 1:30PM
– Learning is Fun Basics
Staff and campers have some fun participating in some interactive learning
skills
involving some of the basics campers will be studying in school in the fall to
encourage
a healthy attitude toward learning.
1:30PM – 2:30PM
– Arts & Crafts (indoor) or maybe a nap
Arts & Crafts projects will be varied and interesting and will be used to help
campers
discover and create.
2:30PM – 2:45PM
– snack
2:45PM – 3:45PM
– Playscape/ Music/ Games/ Other
Camp counselors will vary this activity period to provide children with exposure
to various types
of interactive activities and Gross Motor electives including music and dance.
3:45PM – 5:30PM
– Reading/ Movie/ Relax
Slow down time is a good time for campers to relax with fellow campers and
staff.
Campers may watch a movie, read, or quietly play with their favorite game or
toys.
Field trip events and site choices are scheduled
periodically during each Summer Camp period.
Field Trip sites/ dates and itineraries are discussed in advance with campers
and parents are given
ample notice in advance regarding planned trips. The cost for field trips is not
included in the tuition.

Subject to scheduling and availability variations,
the following is a general listing of activities and facilities
available on The Sand Trap business premises to support all SCHOOL CLUB
programs:

access only
(i.e. games are not coin or token operated).

Reading/ tutoring support
Parents are responsible for getting their
children to the School Club premises in the morning preferably
between the hours of 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM in accordance with “Authorized
Transportation Form” on file at
SCHOOL CLUB and are responsible for their respective children until they are
signed into SCHOOL CLUB
by a staff member.
Parents are asked to call and speak to a
SCHOOL CLUB staff member in the morning before 9 AM in the event their child will be absent from the Summer Day Camp program
on a particular day.
Early departure of child on any given day from any SCHOOL CLUB PROGRAM
(for any reason)
will not reduce the amount of tuition payable to SCHOOL CLUB in effect
for the level of service the
child has been signed up for relative to the program. No refunds will be
given.
Each child is signed out of SCHOOL CLUB
when departing the premises according to
“Authorized Transportation Form” on file by pre-registered parent or
designated pre-registered
back up person when child is being picked up from the program at 5:30 PM
and must be picked
up no later than 6:00 PM by a pre-registered parent or one (1) of up to
five (5) pre-registered
parent back up persons. A $15 late pick up penalty will be charged per
15 minutes (or any portion thereof)
for any child not picked up by 6:00 PM.
